Taking an accurate dental impression is one of the most common procedures in clinical dentistry, something we do every day and yet often we feel that we could do better. This discussion is aimed at exploring in-depth all facets of impression taking, various materials for various prosthetics, with focus on the clinical technique to improve predictability and final outcome. Materials covered include alginate, PVS and polyether.
